About The Position

Job Title : Medical Surgical Nurse

Shift : Days (0700-1930) rotating weekends

Hours per Shift : 36

Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent Med-surg experience

License : Current unencumbered RN license required

Certifications : Healthcare Provider Level BLS required

Must-Have : Recent Epic experience required

Description :

The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and those who require surgery, both emergent and elective.

Patients in this unit receive the highest standards of professional care from registered nurses and nurse assistants.

Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.

No excessive requests for time off will be approved.

There is no guaranteed work schedule aside from shift time.

Candidates must have recent experience using Epic.

Holiday coverage is required.
