Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults with endocrine disorders including diabetes Patient Volume / Census : To be built collaboratively; Diabetes Clinic support in place Case Mix : Endocrine disorders with a focus on diabetes care EMR System : Not specified Specialty Backup : Yes collaboration with APRN and RN Diabetes Educator Support Staff Available : Full clinic support team, including clinical educators and nursing Hospital Privileges Required : No (100% outpatient) Credentialing Timeline : TBD Salary : Competitive base salary plus production bonus opportunity Bonuses : Commencement bonus Relocation : Assistance provided Loan Repayment : Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Insurance : - Professional Liability Insurance - Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance Retirement Plan : Included Continuing Medical Education (CME) : Allowance included Additional Perks : New specialty service line, supportive infrastructure REQUIRED PROCEDURES Outpatient management of endocrine disorders Diabetes management and education collaboration with clinical team Licenses : Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Certifications : Board Certified / Board Eligible in Endocrinology Experience : Preferred but not required for qualified candidates Other Qualifications : - Strong interest in building a new specialty service line - Excellent communication and collaborative skills Establish and grow a new endocrinology practice at Baxter Health Collaborate with a well-established Diabetes Clinic and clinical educators Provide outpatient care for a broad range of endocrine conditions Contribute to patient education and chronic disease management Support hospital’s mission to expand specialty care access Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists across various healthcare settings, gaining insights and perspectives that enrich your professional practice. Cultivate meaningful relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and communities, enriching your clinical experience and cultural competence. Embrace a culture of lifelong learning and professional development in locum assignments, continually seeking opportunities to expand knowledge, skills, and expertise throughout your career journey. Participate in clinical research projects or data collection initiatives during locum assignments, contributing to medical knowledge advancement and evidence-based practice.
