Job Description

This is a Limited Term position for 12 months, with potential extension up to 24 months or possible permanency. The hourly rate ranges from $149.43 to $166.02

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care as a Physician and Surgeon (Internal Medicine / Family Practice) at a correctional facility.
• Work part-time, up to 40 hours per month, in a dual appointment capacity.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and departments to deliver quality healthcare services.

Additional Information

Positions are available to current California state-employed physicians interested in supplementary roles. The additional appointment must be a different role from your primary employment and cannot be a supervisory, managerial, or executive position. Onsite dual appointments may be available.
