Security Officer - Flex Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Driver in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence and regular patrols help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, and you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment for our client. DayTimeSat11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter and production areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and information as needed while promoting a secure environment.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when necessary.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical incidents, following site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
