Position

POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) :

Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Technical Writer Advisor. The Technical Writer Advisor independently develops, interprets, and synthesizes complex technical information into authoritative documentation, exercising professional judgment to ensure compliance with National Guard Bureau (NGB) standards and to influence program operations.

  • Document Development : Create SOPs, information papers, and other critical documents in alignment with DoD and NGB guidelines.
  • Program Analysis : Develop monthly SAPR Initiatives Update Information Papers summarizing emerging trends and impacts.
  • Annual Reporting : Lead the drafting and synthesis of the NGB's contribution to the DoD Annual Report on Sexual Assault, requiring independent professional analysis.
  • Independently develops, interprets, and synthesizes technical information into authoritative documentation; provides recommendations influencing program operations.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on document analysis and interpretation.

Payrate : $71,864 Annually

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of related technical writing, data analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience with National Guard Bureau (NGB) publication writing guidelines, policies and manuals.
  • Experience with Program strategic analysis.
  • Exceptional technical writing and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with NGB publication standards and SAPR policies.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, (e.g. PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
