About The Position

C-section experience is required.
Candidates must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift.
Description :
The position involves working in a labor pool setting with medical surgical patients.
Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1 : 6.
There are nurse aides available in a 1 : 8 or 1 : 10 ratio.
The team works every other weekend and rotates holidays with permanent staff.
Charting is done using MEDITECH - 6.1.
Common diagnoses include various medical surgical conditions.
The unit may require floating to other departments such as orthopedics, neurology, oncology, and acute care.
Candidates will be expected to handle monitored patients and support with BIPAP, CPAP, and vapotherm.
Pharmacy services are available 24 / 7.
The role includes participation in emergency response situations.
Additional certification in NIHSS is required for specific roles.
Candidates will interview with a RN, and results will be confirmed promptly.
A strict radius rule applies to candidate submissions.
