Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities Consult with clients, preparing, soliciting, and marketing proposals for billable work.
Initiates and creates programs for clients to recognize, eliminate, and control occupational health hazards and diseases.
Conducts evaluations of chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
Collect samples of dust, gases, vapors, and other potentially toxic materials for analysis.
Investigates adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions that may affect employee health, comfort, or efficiency.
Creates and presents reports regarding the work environment.
Recommends precautions and corrective actions that should be taken in response to identified hazards.
Assists in the development of operating procedures and service lines.
Contributes to industry presentations and publications.
Develop and mentor staff.
Required Certifications (MUST BE ACTIVE) Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) CDPH Lead Inspector / Assessor (I / A) Project Management Professional (PMP) Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong client development and management skills.

Education A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety is required.
Advanced degrees and / or certifications (CDPH I / A, CAC and PMP) are required .
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is preferred!
