Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour day shifts

Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend

On-Site Position

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800 - $1930

PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience required

Active Iowa Registered Nurse license

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

First-time travel nurses welcome to apply

Willingness to float to ICU as needed

Submission of work history / resume, recent skills checklist, license verification, required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference

PACU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU

Monitor and assess patient vital signs, responding promptly to changes in condition

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery

Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (EPIC)

May float within the same discipline across local hospital campuses
