What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help de-escalate and resolve issues.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing directions and responding to inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.

Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and providing guidance as needed.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to maintain a secure environment and uphold established protocols.

Minimum Requirements :

At least six months of security-related experience is required.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
