Job descriptionBoard Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. 3+ years of experience; preferred leadership experience. Open to physicians who are interested in growing their career into a leadership role. This leadership role is open to all levels of experience : Lead hospitalist, Chief Resident within internal medicine, or Associate Program Director in a hospitalist program are great options to move into this role. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound. This role offers a balanced blend of clinical responsibilities and dedicated administrative time to support both patient care and leadership or program development efforts. Welcome the challenge of complex cases, working in a semi-open ICU with intensivist coverage during the day and tele-ICU coverage at night. The group convenes once a month for a team meeting. This helps us collaboratively make all decisions to best support the team. Our hospitalist team at CMC is the linchpin for the hospital and is involved in most of the hospital committees. We help with strategy and decision-making for our hospital partners. You will have a dedicated physician-led team for professional education focused on your individual development and growth.
