Revenue Cycle Representative
Serves as the Representative for the Revenue Cycle Management Department as a resource in medical billing. Facilitates insurance billing and maintains positive working relationships across roles and departments to facilitate issue resolution. Clear understanding of healthcare insurance collections and denials. Possesses the ability to handle the resubmission, reposting, and transferring of charges to resolve accounts in a time efficient process.
Oversees processes and directs day-to-day work related to patient accounts.
Resolve team member inquiries and escalate issues to management as needed.
Participates in hiring, orientation, training, scheduling and provides day-to-day operational supervision for assigned staff.
Collaborates with Revenue Cycle Management Supervisor and other leadership in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
Assist in identifying and resolving issues to assure high quality, efficient, and cost effective services consistent with the needs of the organization.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience working in a medical office or billing environment with medical billing and collections required.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
Working knowledge of medical terminology required.

Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Ability to read and write legibly and understand / follow written and verbal directions.
Must be able to operate computer and have necessary keyboarding skills to function in assigned Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
