Minimum / Preferred Requirements :
- Mandatory experience in management for a dental practice (any role or form applicable)
- Strong operational leadership background
- Marketing experience is a plus
- Experience in Open Dental and Insurance / Building is a plus
- Experience in Collections, AR and Financial reports
- Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
- Must have strong interpersonal and listening skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Responsibilities / Duties :
Maximize provider schedules for best production and achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment timesSchedule patient treatment appointments; making calls to fill broken and cancelled appointmentsWork with clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow, providing communication and information to the appropriate individualsComplete insurance verifications and breakdowns prior to patient appointmentsPromptly greeting and checking in patients that are in the reception areaPrepare and present treatment plan and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatmentAssist patient with financial arrangements; Collect and process payments for services prior to treatmentSubmit insurance claims for patients when appropriateMaintaining the day sheet to ensure that claims are posted and filed on the date of service with supporting documentation required for processingFrequently monitoring the accounts receivable and notifying patients of balances and sending monthly statementsHandle all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperworkEffectively communicate and develop a strong working relationship with the Doctor and promote teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviorsAnswer and return incoming calls from patientsAdhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patients recordsFollow and demonstrate commitment to the Premier Oral and Facial Surgery policies, professional expectations and Service Excellence StandardsSupporting the practice on all patient and team managementKeeping an eye on staff productivity and supporting the team where necessaryHelp with marketing and advertising efforts to increase production and foster referral relationshipsTracking referral sources and making sure that referral thank you letters are mailed out
