Assistant Production Technician - 1st Shift

Summary : The QTI Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer to find a detail-oriented Assistant Pourline Technician to join their production team. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in foam production, operate industry-specific machinery, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Hours are Monday to Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM (may require overtime depending on productivity and business levels).

Responsibilities : Assist in maintaining chemical inventory and setting up foam production equipment.

Operate conveyor belts, RS flattening units, and poly film systems.

Cut scrap foam and production samples to ensure quality standards.

Record production data accurately and help troubleshoot equipment issues.

Use a forklift to transport foam blocks, raw materials, and waste items.

Qualifications : Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

Basic math skills, including fractions and measurements.

Ability to work in varying temperatures and physical environments.

Forklift experience a plus (training may be provided).
