Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with thousands of students for online Elementary School Writing tutoring nationwide. Tutors have the flexibility to set their own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of home.

Compensation

Base pay range : $18.00 / hr - $40.00 / hr

  • Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40 / hour.
  • Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
  • Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring focused on Elementary School Writing.
  • Deliver personalized instruction and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Use the platform to generate lessons and engage students with real-time instructional support (Tutor Copilot features).
  • Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics.
