Registered Nurse OR Billing Specialist

Summary

In accordance with established standards and under the direction of the Director and Unit manager, has direct oversight and responsibility for the surgical services charge capture function. This includes the entire platform of software upkeep and appropriate and effective direction in all electronic medical records,

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• Two years clinical experience as a registered nurse working in surgical services.
• Three years of experience utilizing computer systems by way of documentation and / or charge capture in clinical area or healthcare field
• Previous experience professionally presenting analytical data to leadership teams and / or frontline employees.
• Previous experience using databases , and report writers to design custom reports to support clinical operations.
