Description :

Physical therapists (PTs) are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages.

They work with individuals who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives.

PTs examine each individual and develop a treatment plan using techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

In addition, PTs work to prevent the loss of mobility by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs.

Physical therapists provide care in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.

State licensure is required in each state where a physical therapist practices.

This position may require floating to other units as needed.

Preferred experience level is entry.

The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday.

The facility uses an electronic medical record system.

The dress code is professional scrubs.
