Thar Energy has an immediate opening for an experienced Instrumentation-Mechanical Technician to join its team responsible for instrumentation selection and installation and operation and maintenance of small-scale industrial process plants and equipment.

Job responsibilities include :

• Assemble / disassemble and clean plant equipment, piping and instruments
• Operate and manage (troubleshoot) pumps, heat exchangers, valves, instrument control systems
• Investigate and troubleshoot plant / process problems
• Ensure that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities
• Liaise with installation / project engineers and specialists
• Order and maintain lab and pilot supplies inventory
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation
