We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our thriving hospitality company.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking financial professional to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all company financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.
• Manage and lead a team of financial staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications :

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, with a minimum of 5+ years in a similar role.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and experience in managing a team.
• Exceptional numerical proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
