We are seeking a Locum Tenens Otolaryngologist in Iowa.

Shift : Monday - Thursday , Friday

Position Details :

Patient Population : Males, Females, Adults; Metro plus rural areas

Setting : MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center

Responsibilities :

Provide 24-hour call coverage for ER and post-op patients.

Perform ENT-related surgeries and support clinic volume.

Coverage for established patients, ED, and consults.

Required Procedures :

Basic ENT clinic care

Basic surgeries such as tubes and tonsils

Nasopharyngeal scopes

Biopsies

Direct laryngoscopies.

EMR System : Epic

Support Staff : 2 : 1 nursing support, 2 : 1 ancillary staff

Days Per Month : 7

On-Call / Weekends : 24 / 7 call coverage, ideal 2 weeks back-to-back

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified - REQUIRED

Active IA License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED (Must upload LOQ at time of name clear)

Fellowship Trained (ENT) - REQUIRED

Must be experienced - REQUIRED (5 years or greater would be ideal)
