About The Position

We are seeking a Neurocritical Care Physician Assistant for a 4-week locum tenens assignment in Arkansas. This opportunity begins Dec 28, 2025, and involves overnight coverage (7p-7a) in a Neuro ICU, providing management of high-acuity patients during the New Year period.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide nighttime coverage for a Neuro ICU

Manage critical and high-acuity neurological patients, including :

Stroke

Brain and head trauma

Aneurysm

Encephalitis

Respond to emergent neurological events during assigned shifts

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient care

Ensure accurate documentation and handoff to daytime staff

Additional Information

Must have critical care experience as a Physician Assistant

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification required

Must hold an active Arkansas license

Assignment covers New Years; recurring dates may be available
