About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Profession : Nursing
Specialty : Intensive Care Unit
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 3 : 00 AM
Hours per Shift : 12
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of Medical, Surgical and / or ICU experience required, with at least 1 year of that in ICU.
License : Current RN license
Certifications : BLS and ACLS required
Must-Have : Candidates should be comfortable with ventilator management, vasoactive medications, and psychiatric patients.
Description :
Patient care in a high-acuity environment.
Use of EPIC computer charting for documentation.
Administration of medications via Pyxis system.
Operating and managing ventilators and BiPAP equipment.
Maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 2 or 1 : 3.
Float to critical care units as needed.
Dress code consists of Caribbean blue scrubs.
Mandatory attendance for all training sessions is required.
Two days of training on the floor after initial orientation.
Orientation consists of 7 days of scheduled training.
