The Payroll Specialist is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely processing of the company's payroll. This role involves managing various aspects of the weekly payroll process, from timecard management to compliance, making it essential for maintaining efficient payroll operations across the organization. The specialist engages in a blend of timecard reviewing, payroll report analyses, hours and rate edits, payroll processing, and compliance documentation throughout the week, with a specific focus on data analysis, employee inquiries, and report verification towards the end of the week to ensure smooth payroll closure.

The Position :

Review, export, and re-export timecards to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.

Process weekly payroll for the company, including handling specific deductions and ensuring accuracy across various payment structures.

Generate hours and rate edits to identify and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with applicable rates and benefits.

Manage and process unemployment forms, levies, and garnishments.

Review insights logs and other payroll-related reports to monitor and report on operational metrics.

Address and resolve payroll-related questions and issues from employees, providing clear and concise information to assist with their queries.
