Responsibilities

• Conduct physical screening of guests before allowing entry to the venue
• Conduct screening of bags and belongings in possession of guests before allowing entry
• Identify prohibited items and ensure the items are not brought into the venue
• Communicate with co-workers and / or police personnel in the event a dangerous item is located
• Prevent ingress or egress to or from an assigned door / entrance / exit
• Provide general information to guests
• Instruct guests / visitors regarding rules of conduct and prohibited items
• Respond to incidents in or around the venue as directed, including disruptive behavior, disputes, intoxicated guests, seating conflicts, etc.
• Monitor a position / location as directed to prevent disruptive and / or unlawful conduct
• Conduct high-visibility foot patrols of assigned venue / facility
• Identify unsafe conditions and / or instances that could constitute a security threat to a guest, visitor, employee, traveler, or to the facility itself and take appropriate actions
• Communicate to Control and / or coworkers or supervisors upon any observed misconduct or criminal behavior

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Required - 0-1 Year
