Ronnoco Beverage Solutions, the Midwest's leading supplier of specialty coffee, is looking for a Controls Maintenance Technician to join our team at our main coffee manufacturing plant in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment in a timely manner to ensure the production facility is able to meet production demands.
- Trouble shoot PLC issues
- Programing / writing Ladder logic.
- Monitor and maintain packaging, roasting, and grinding equipment and respond to troubleshooting calls.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance activities on all production equipment.
- Routinely perform complete facility tours to assess condition of equipment and document all inspections and findings.
- Set up machinery to run - film, corrugate, tape, label printing.
- Maintain housekeeping and GMP standards for the maintenance shop.
- Suggest and execute ideas to help improve efficiencies and operability of the production facility.
- Train operators on troubleshooting and repair techniques that will assist in daily production operation.
- Frequently climb stairs and ladders to execute functions that occur on upper levels in the production facilities.
- Follow GMP rules.
- Uphold the integrity of the SQF system and Food Safety Policy.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certificate in PLC logic
- Technical knowledge and experience in controls language
- 3+ years' experience as a Controls maintenance technician in a food production facility preferred.
- Previous experience maintaining and troubleshooting food packaging machinery, high speed production equipment.
- Previous experience as a machine operator preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stand on feet for the majority of the day.
- Ability to utilize hand tools, electrical test equipment, and various power tools.
- Act as backfill for machine operators as production requires.
- Become certified and drive forklift if necessary.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
- Positive team player with the ability to work independently and with a group.
