Job description

Senior / Staff / Lead Rails / Typescript Engineer

We are looking for an outstanding Senior / Staff / Lead Rails / Typescript Engineer who wants to play a core role in building our core applications platform.

Note : This full-stack role will be 40% FE (Typescript) and 60% BE (Ruby on Rails)

Example Responsibilities :

  • End-to-end Feature Development : Responsible for the overall development, design, and implementation of front-end / back-end services.
  • Realtime Feature Dev : Contribute to and develop the architecture for enabling real-time capabilities across our platform.
  • Building Front End Components : Building pixel-perfect front-end components (ex. Lit framework) and iterating user-focused applications and interfaces.
  • Performance Optimization : Identify, assess, and improve bottlenecks or scaling issues. Looking for ways to make the product better!

Qualifications :

  • 6+ years full stack experience building and scaling services in Ruby and JavaScript (ideally experienced in Typescript)
  • Strong in both Ruby on Rails and modern JS Web development
  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices
  • Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP)
  • Write test suites and deploy using our CI / CD pipeline
  • Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL
