Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician with hydraulics experience to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in Troy, MI, the Senior Test Technician position provides testing services to manufacturers and leading suppliers in the passenger car, light truck, bus, off-highway and military vehicle sectors. Its range of capabilities includes component and system testing, system simulation, engine performance and full vehicle structural testing.

Pay rate : $20-25 / hr

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols during testing activities

• Review test requirements from work instructions and acquire necessary equipment and fixtures
• Set up hydraulic servo test stands and possess the ability to learn lower to intermediate complex testing
• Record and document data during test procedures
• Build and tear down test samples and setups as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with engineers from setup to test completion
