Job Description :

We are looking for experienced Finish Carpenters who excel in precision woodworking, possess a keen eye for detail, and are committed to delivering exceptional finished products. As a Finish Carpenter at United Trades of America, you will play a key role in the final stages of construction, bringing projects to completion with finesse and expertise.

Responsibilities :

Trim Carpentry : Skillfully install baseboards, crown molding, window casings, and other decorative trim elements with precision and attention to detail.

Cabinet Installation : Install custom cabinets, shelves, and built-in furniture, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.

Door and Window Installation : Expertly hang doors, install door frames, and fit and install windows for a seamless and polished finish.

Flooring Installation : Lay hardwood, laminate, tile, or other types of flooring with accuracy, taking into consideration patterns and designs.

Finish Work : Perform finishing touches such as sanding, staining, painting, and applying varnish or other finishes to enhance the appearance of wood surfaces.

Blueprint Reading : Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine specifications and requirements for finishing work.

Collaboration : Work closely with other construction professionals, including contractors and project managers, to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Quality Control : Conduct thorough inspections of finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.

Qualifications :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational or technical training in carpentry is a plus.

Experience : Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.

Skills : Expertise in trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and finishing work. Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Certifications : Carpentry or construction-related certifications are advantageous.
