Job Title : RCM Project Specialist

Job Summary : The RCM Project Specialist is responsible for managing and executing projects aimed at improving the revenue cycle processes within the healthcare organization. This includes analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and financial performance to include training, quality audit, and support. A Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Project Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the financial operations within a healthcare organization. This role is vital in ensuring that healthcare providers receive proper compensation for their services while also maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities :

• Project Management : Plan, execute, and oversee RCM projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet organizational goals and deadlines. This includes all aspects of end to end RCM with pre, middle, and post.
• Process Improvement : Analyze existing revenue cycle processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Data Analysis : Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to revenue cycle activities to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including billing, coding, finance, and IT, to implement and monitor project solutions.
• Reporting : Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress, outcomes, and impact on revenue cycle performance.
• Compliance & Regulations : Ensure all projects adhere to industry regulations and organizational policies. Stay updated on changes in billing and coding regulations.
• Training, Quality Audit, and Support : Provide training, quality audits, and support to staff on new processes and technologies implemented as part of RCM projects.
• Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear and open communication with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational objectives.
