Position Summary
The Payroll and Billing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of biweekly payroll, administering payroll-related compliance requirements, managing
employee deductions, and supporting the company's billing, receivables, and payables functions. This role collaborates closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, proper benefit reconciliation, and efficient invoicing operations.
Job Responsibilities

- Processes biweekly payroll accurately and on
- Audits employee timecards and resolves discrepancies with employees and
- Reconciles payroll general ledger accounts each pay
- Conducts payroll cost analysis by department, preparing summaries for
- Administers federal, state, and local payroll tax
- Supports the preparation and submission of 941s, W-2s, and
- Processes and maintains child support orders, wage garnishments, and other legal
- Reconciles employee benefit deductions and ensures alignment with carrier
- Communicates with HR regarding new hires, terminations, benefit elections, and payroll-impacting employee changes.
- Generates and sends invoices; tracks receivables, aging, and payment
- Manages payables, ensuring timely and accurate processing and
- Calculates retirement plan contributions and ensures timely
- Responds to employee inquiries regarding direct deposit, deductions, withholding changes, and general pay-related questions.

Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field3+ years of experience in payroll and / or accounting (A / P, A / R, billing).Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxExperience processing payroll taxes, 941s, W-2s, andUnderstanding of employee benefits, deductions, and reconciliationExperience managing receivables, invoicing, or billingStrong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention toHigh level of integrity and ability to manage confidentialExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with HR and FinanceWork Environment
