  • ???? What You’ll Do in This Role :

Are you an experienced healthcare professional passionate about helping others succeed and grow in their careers? As our Caregiver Retention Specialist , you’ll play a vital role in welcoming and supporting new Resident Care Assistants and Med Techs as they begin their journey in senior living.

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide hands-on, role-specific training that builds confidence, strengthens skills, and sets our caregivers up for long-term success. If you love healthcare, training, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference in the lives of both caregivers and seniors, this is the opportunity for you!

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Create a welcoming environment for new team members, ensuring they receive proper training and communication.
  • Train new Resident Care Assistant / Med Tech team members in Catered Living, providing a comprehensive experience on various days and during peak hours.
  • Work with the Quality department to ensure new staff have the proper resources to be successful.
  • Meet with the new team members regularly, after training, to obtain feedback on their experience. Document feedback.
  • Coordinate shadows for prospective hires. (Candidates will shadow the Caregiver Retention Specialist)
  • ✅ What You’ll Need :

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Lead Caregiver or Training role within a healthcare setting, required.
  • Experience as an RCA or Med Tech, required.
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (Clinical) in the State of Michigan, preferred.
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds.
