State Licensed Capital Assets Accountant

A company is looking for a Capital Assets Accountant to manage accounting tasks related to fixed assets and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

Review and close out project costs, ensuring accurate entry into the Oracle fixed asset system

Prepare journal entries for asset disposals, transfers, and depreciation, ensuring accurate documentation

Conduct monthly reconciliations of capital projects and fixed asset accounts, supporting internal and external audits

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or equivalent preferred

Must be at least 21 years of age

Experience with Oracle Cloud suite, including General Ledger and Account Reconciliation

Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and close processes

Working knowledge of job cost accounting and fixed asset tax systems preferred
