Overview
We are seeking a skilled OB Hospitalist to provide high-quality, around-the-clock care at a reputable hospital located about 200 miles east of Portland. This role involves delivering essential obstetric services during scheduled shifts, including clinic work on weekdays and on-call hours during evenings and weekends. Your contribution will ensure safe, compassionate care for mothers and newborns, making a tangible difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Required Skills

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active Oregon medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services or similar settings
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Current ACLS and NRP certifications

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with high-risk obstetrics and neonatal care
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience

• MD or DO degree with at least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
• Previous work in rural or community hospital settings is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to handle labor and delivery emergencies effectively

Other Requirements

• Availability to start on December 1, 2025
• Must adhere to all state and federal health and safety regulations
• Willingness to work 24-hour shifts, including weekends and weekdays as scheduled
• Must hold or obtain necessary licensure, certifications, and hospital privileges in Oregon
• Willingness to travel if required for temporary coverage assignments
