Salary : $85-95K (DOE)
SHRM-SP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR is required for this role.
Position Summary :
An automotive supplier for a major automotive manufacturer located in the San Antonio, TX area is currently looking for a Human Resources Manager.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the daily human resource functions, including but not limited to identifying, analyzing and resolving human resource problems, providing technical support for the development and administration of specialized human resource functions and researching and coordinating communication of related human resource activities.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for recruitment and retention of employees
- Drives the implementation, communication and execution of all HR policies and procedures
- Ensures HR readiness for launch of key business strategic objectives, developments and / or organizational change
- Fosters and promotes a climate of positive employee and labor relations. Take initiatives that promote positive employee engagement and inspire trust
- Strives for continuous improvement through implementing local process enhancements & sharing best practices
- Conducts new hire orientations and training
- Planning and preparation of company events

Knowledge and Experience :
- Bilingual (English, Spanish)
- Proven Leadership in non-Union Environments
- Demonstrated in-depth experience with employee and labor relations
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, safety, training and development
- Skill in developing and implementing salary administration plans and programs
- Knowledge of benefits including health care, FMLA, and COBRA
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent
Certification :
- SHRM-SP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR is required for this role.
