VASCULAR LABORATORY SUPERVISOR

Salary : $108,000 - $135,000 Per Year

Your leadership and insight are crucial in managing the day-to-day operations of our Vascular laboratory, directly impacting patient outcomes, lab processes, and workflows.

As the supervisor of the technical staff, you will work closely with the Administrative Director to ensure proper patient flow and accurate, high-quality diagnostic testing.

Primary responsibilities :

• Perform the functions of a Vascular Laboratory Technologist as needed
• Prepare staffing schedules, statistical, payroll, and budgetary reports
• Oversee QI / PI initiatives to ensure compliance with hospital and accreditation standards
• Prepare accurate charts and result logs for final reading / interpretation by the physician
• Attend continuing education courses and assist with the in-service of staff
• Properly maintain testing equipment and order / distribute clinical and office supplies

Minimum requirements :

• Graduate from an AMA-approved Vascular program
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• NYS Cytotechnologist license and RVT certification from the ARDMS
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in a hospital-based vascular laboratory
• Knowledgeable and highly trained to perform non-invasive vascular testing procedures
• Skilled in providing instructions and evaluations to ultrasound students and staff
