Hiring immediately for 1st shift inventory associate in Burlington, NC! Pay : $18-20 / hr. 1st shift : 7 AM 3 : 30 PM Monday Friday

Job Description

Implement inventory management procedures to ensure accurate tracking and control of materials and finished products.

Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production schedules, customer orders, and customized packaging requirements.

Monitor inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns, in the ERP system.

Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.

Coordinate with the production team to forecast inventory needs based on open customer orders.

Collaborate with the purchasing department to manage order placements, delivery schedules, and cost control initiatives.

Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials, including sheet metal, CNC parts, hardware, and finished goods, to facilitate efficient workflow and quality control.

Work with the quality assurance team to identify and address any discrepancies or quality issues with incoming or stored materials.

Analyze inventory trends and propose improvements to reduce handling and transportation costs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a precision machine shop, metal fabrication shop, or other manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, stock management, and ERP systems.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively with production, supply chain, and quality assurance teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective inventory solutions.

Proficiency in using inventory management software.

Knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, or product finishing services is a plus

Strong math skills required.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
