Key Responsibilities
Formulate and interpret policies and procedures related to public health programs
Develop and evaluate public health program plans and implement necessary changes
Serve as the primary liaison for public health program areas, coordinating with federal, state, and local agencies
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
7+ years of relevant experience in public health or similar fields
Considerable knowledge of public health theories, principles, and practices
Specialized knowledge of program planning and implementation techniques
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with various agency staff
Completion of relevant educational degree(s) may substitute for equivalent years of experience
