Job Description :
As Director of Events’ Sales & Partnerships, you will help conceive compelling event concepts, identify and pitch sponsors, and deliver new revenue to CNBC Events, Television, and Digital. You will work closely with the CNBC events sales team, Production and Editorial teams, and broader partners to close new clients and drive direct event fee commitments.
Responsibilities
Close new business, growing the number and value of sponsors of CNBC events and meeting or exceeding annual revenue growth targets focused on direct event fee commitments.
Collaborate with the CNBC Event sales team on the growth and expansion of a portfolio of innovative, cross‑platform event offerings.
Play a leadership role in evolving CNBC Event’s go‑to‑market strategy and positioning for current and target clients.
Identify and articulate revenue opportunities within the CNBC brand and editorial mandate; work with Editorial and Production teams to build new sponsorable events.
Work closely with sponsors throughout the sale and event lifecycle to ensure expectations are met.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Live Events, Media, Digital, Finance, B2B, Auto, Tech, Aviation, Liquor, or similar industries.
Proven experience in event sales, planning, and execution.
Ability to develop complex event programming within an event‑sales context.
Cross‑platform approach, integrating Digital and Television products.
Desired Characteristics

Excellent multi‑tasking, organizational, and communication abilities.
Independent, proactive work style with strong presentation skills and in‑person dynamic for senior client decision makers.
Solution‑oriented mindset and attention to detail.
Benefits & Compensation
Salary range : $120,000 – $170,000 (bonus eligible). This is a staff, end‑date position expiring December 2026.
Hybrid : Office minimum three days per week.
