Corporate - Market Manager - Reseller (Medicaid)
Join EyeMed Vision Care as a Market Manager – Reseller, Medicaid. In this full-time role, you will develop strategic relationships and manage ongoing support of multiple state Medicaid programs administered by our reseller partners. You will help achieve annual membership, retention, revenue and profitability goals while fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships cross-functionally within Medicaid health plan partners at multiple levels.
- Support strategic business plans focused on retention, growth and financial targets for the assigned Strategic Partner.
- Serve as a thought leader and vision care expert internally and externally to develop innovative processes and successes.
- Consult with external Strategic Partner stakeholders to identify and achieve goals for both EyeMed and the Strategic Partner organizations.
- Represent client needs within the internal organization and influence key internal teams to achieve client-focused expectations and implement client requests.
- Collaborate with Medicaid state partners to ensure benefits are aligned with state requirements and are also competitive in the market.
- Support compliance efforts including state and / or client delegation audits.
- Maintain solid understanding and ensure consistent delivery of strategic partner's ongoing operational and reporting requirements and expectations. Provide direct support for required reporting and other client deliverables.
- Manage client initiatives internally while maintaining excellent communication skills with external partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client service needs, researching, analyzing and driving resolution in collaboration with internal partners.
- Create and present external-facing presentations of metrics, projects and trends, acting as the vision expert for the partner(s).
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.5+ years account management experience, preferably within government programs.Exceptional verbal and written professional communication skills.Strong presentation skills and executive presence.Strong analytical and project management skills.Demonstrated successful results and accomplishments in an account-management-based role.Experience building and negotiating contract terms with large, complex clients.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with government programs – ideally Medicaid.Experience in the health insurance field with exposure to managed care.Working knowledge of Medicaid regulations, standards and processes.Benefits
