Healthcare Finance Director
Community Health Development Partners (CHDP) is a community focused, quickly growing organization that is seeking an entrepreneurially minded Healthcare Finance Director.
The Healthcare Finance Director is a senior-level executive responsible for overseeing the financial operations within CHDP's healthcare business unit, Community Health.
This role requires a combination of financial expertise, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
The Finance Director collaborates with various departments to ensure financial stability, regulatory compliance, and effective resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support the organization's strategic objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to the executive leadership team.
Revenue Cycle Management
- Oversee the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
- Implement strategies to optimize revenue generation and minimize financial risks.
- Collaborate with billing and coding teams to ensure accurate and timely claims submission.
Cost Management
- Analyze and control costs to enhance operational efficiency and maintain financial viability.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement while maintaining high-quality patient care.
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting
- Ensure compliance with healthcare finance regulations, including billing and coding guidelines, Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement programs.
- Prepare and submit required financial reports to regulatory bodies.
Financial Leadership and Team Management
- Lead the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and proactive financial culture within the organization.
Strategic Financial Planning
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
- Evaluate potential financial risks and opportunities and make recommendations for mitigating or leveraging them.
Audit and Internal Controls
- Coordinate financial audits and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
- Implement and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to the executive team and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial considerations into decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in healthcare finance, with a deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement models and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare financial software and systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
