The Broadband Communications Systems sector in Salt Lake City, UT is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Operations Sr. Supervisor supervises individual(s) typically consisting of support level employees as well as professional employees.

Essential Functions

• Lead and manage a team of supervisors and frontline employees to achieve operational excellence and meet organizational goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency within the department.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and ISO 9001 quality management standards.
• Oversee the execution of daily operations, including engineering performance, identifying trends, resource allocation, workflow management, and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support company-wide projects.
• Prepare and present reports on operational performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement.
• Handle escalated issues and conflicts, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Supervise and guide the testing of hardware components and systems, ensuring that all products meet quality and performance standards.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Understands supervisory approaches and has practical knowledge of Operations (Manufacturing / Test / Engineering).
