Job Description

• Assist Project Managers and MEP Coordinators in overseeing all MEP-related scopes from design through closeout.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for MEP systems.
• Coordinate between design teams, subcontractors, and field operations to ensure proper installation and sequencing.
• Track RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings, ensuring timely responses and approvals.
• Support field inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems.
• Ensure MEP systems comply with NYC DOB , DOH , and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage project documentation, meeting minutes, and progress tracking for internal and client reporting.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering , or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience as a Project Engineer or MEP Coordinator in construction.
• Experience with healthcare , institutional , or public infrastructure projects in NYC.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems .
• Familiarity with Procore , Bluebeam , and AutoCAD / Revit preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• OSHA 30 or NYC SST certification a plus.
