Job Description
- Assist Project Managers and MEP Coordinators in overseeing all MEP-related scopes from design through closeout.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for MEP systems.
- Coordinate between design teams, subcontractors, and field operations to ensure proper installation and sequencing.
- Track RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings, ensuring timely responses and approvals.
- Support field inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems.
- Ensure MEP systems comply with NYC DOB , DOH , and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage project documentation, meeting minutes, and progress tracking for internal and client reporting.
- Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering , or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience as a Project Engineer or MEP Coordinator in construction.
- Experience with healthcare , institutional , or public infrastructure projects in NYC.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems .
- Familiarity with Procore , Bluebeam , and AutoCAD / Revit preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- OSHA 30 or NYC SST certification a plus.
