Cusdial Project Manager - AIS
Responsible for planning, organization, administration, management, and direction of the work activities within the department to maintain the required standards and operating efficiency. The Project Manager supervises and leads groups of hourly and exempt employees in meeting the expectations of the customer as well as meeting the organization's standards. Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance through understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.
The salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 / year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to Ahtna Integrated Services policies and procedures, philosophies and support its goals.
- Provides leadership and guidance to employees and supervisors.
- Develop and enforce staff work schedules.
- Ability to prepare and work within an established budget.
- Responsible for collecting and analyzing data.
- Coordinate all required functions within the contract, to ensure that all aspects are met regarding quality control, productivity, and safety.
- May conduct orientation and employee evaluations.
- Orders supplies, equipment and linens when needed.
- Coordinate, schedule, and document all cycle cleaning in area of responsibility.
- Ensures that adequately trained staff are available to complete contracted tasks.
- Ability to carry out corporate goals and develop departmental goals as needed to enhance the efficiency of the department.
- Promote team building.
- Knowledgeable of contract requirements and assures contract compliance.
- Provides education and training of required cleaning techniques.
- Capable of meeting deadlines.
- Manage and monitor the janitors assigned to the shift to ensure safety, quality control and responsiveness.
- Communicate in a manner that promotes teamwork, while briefing the oncoming shift of what needs to be performed.
- Ensure coverage by calling on-call employees as required.
- Adheres to established "Universal Precaution / Bloodborne Pathogen Standards."
- Attend meetings as required.
- Ensures performance evaluations are given on an annual basis.
- Handles employee matters and corrective actions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be on-site during the Governments regular working hours and shall be available on-site within one hour after the Governments regular working hours.
- Other duties as assigned by management and / or supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Project Manager supervises and leads groups of hourly and exempt employees.
Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.Valid Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance and the ability to travel to local facilities.Must have a minimum of 3 years project management experience and managing a workforce of similar size, scope, and complexity for this location.Must have 4-5 years working at or above a Custodial Supervisor or Manager position.Must possess skills to read, write and comprehend English.Ability to pass a background check and or Govt. security clearance.U.S. citizenship required.Experience
Must have knowledge and supervisory skills necessary to plan daily work and motivate employees to successfully perform assigned duties.A CEH (Certified Executive Housekeeper) certification is required.Must have the ability to manage time efficiently, work with multiple supervisors and managers, as well as maintain schedules.Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working within a team environment and outsourced support teams.Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.Must have computer experience.Preferred Qualifications
