Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nocturnist Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Jupiter Medical Center located in Jupiter, FL. The primary responsibilities of this role include providing comprehensive care to hospitalized patients during night shifts, performing physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. You will also be responsible for documenting patient information, developing and executing appropriate treatment plans, and educating patients and their families about medical conditions and treatments.

Work alongside a physician, 7pm to 7am.

Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with relevant clinical experience
  • Experience in hospital medicine and delivering care to hospitalized patients
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with physicians and other medical staff
  • Ability to work independently and manage night shift responsibilities
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
  • Commitment to maintaining patient safety, quality care, and adhering to medical ethical standards
  • Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification is a plus
