Job Title : Perm - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Location : Maple Grove, MN

Rate : $22.23 - $27.37 per hour + Full Benefits

Shift : Monday 8 : 00 AM 8 : 00 PM / Sunday; 72 Hours Per 2-Week Pay Period

Weekend Requirement : Rotating weekends per department schedule

Job Summary :

Join our patient-centered care team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) , supporting providers and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the clinic. You'll deliver individualized care across all age groups-infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors-through collaborative and delegated clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Clinical Support :

Perform rooming, vitals, injections, immunizations, and medication administration as directed

Collect lab specimens and perform phlebotomy and in-clinic lab tests

Support prescription refills and patient-provider communications

Telephone triage and follow-up as needed

May assist with x-rays (if licensed / certified to do so)

Administrative Support :

Document patient interactions accurately and promptly

Assist with care coordination and scheduling

Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical equipment

Requirements : Education :

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Required

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Required

Medical Assistant certification Required

Experience :

Prior experience in a clinical setting Required

Passed x-ray operator's exam or willing to complete if required by clinic Preferred

Certifications :

Current BLS Certification Required

Skills & Abilities :

Strong multitasking and time management skills

Proficient in computer software and EMR systems

Professional, adaptable, and team-oriented communication style

Willingness to travel locally (only applicable to Occupational Medicine)
