Major Gifts And Membership Specialist
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and mission-driven Major Gifts and Membership Specialist to oversee daily administrative operations at a growing non-profit organization. This role is essential in supporting both the internal team and the organization's broader mission by ensuring the office runs efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, vendor relationships, and facilities maintenance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal staff, board members, donors, and community partners.
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and event logistics for leadership, ensuring efficient use of time.
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, maintaining personnel files, and tracking time off.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Manage donor databases (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, Raiser's Edge, DonorPerfect), track donations, generate reports, and assist with communication and donor outreach efforts.
Requirements :
3+ years of administrative or office management experience; experience in a non-profit setting is preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with donor databases / CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, Raiser's Edge, DonorPerfect).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
