SV Tech Systems Inc is hiring : Sr. SharePoint Designer in Minneapolis

Job Description The client is seeking a Sr. SharePoint Designer in Minneapolis, MN for a 6+ month engagement. The estimated start date is 5 / 18 / 2015 , and the estimated end date is 11 / 30 / 2015 .

The client wishes to use SharePoint collaboration sites for sharing information with staff, including Leadership, Project Management, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, and Integration Management (Support) Analysts. The goal is to create a sustainable, organized design plan for long-term document sharing, collaboration, alerts, workflow, and other uses.

The consultant will be expected to ensure the design meets the department’s needs and that Site Owners and Site Collection Administrators have the knowledge and ability to maintain the site content. Site Owners and Site Collection Administrators will work closely with the consultant and will be responsible for collecting user requirements from department subject matter experts prior to onboarding the consultant.

Responsibilities Design and implement SharePoint 2013 sites, community sites, and project sites.

Provide guidance to Site Owners to ensure they take full advantage of SharePoint 2013 features.

Assist with collection of site requirements, if needed.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of customers and technology staff.

Pilot SharePoint sites with employees to gather feedback and changes before releasing the site into production.

Oversee and perform build efforts.

Lead the client in developing and implementing at least 2 collaboration sites into production.

Help the client develop 1 or more out-of-the-box workflows for their site.

Host a minimum of 3 site owner brown bag events for the site owners.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will be an expert in designing and implementing SharePoint 2013 sites, community sites, and project sites, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
