Job description

$30,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.\n\nStatus / FTE : FT / 0.8-1.0\n\nShift length : 12 hours\n\nStart Time : 0700\n\nUnit : Med / Surg\n\nSchedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays) : Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week. Every third weekend, Holidays per contract\n\nRequired qualifications : \n

  • Current state RN license\n
  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school\n
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire\n
  • ACLS and NIHSS within three (3) months of hire\n
  • One (1) year of acute care experience\n\nPreferred qualifications : \n
  • BSN preferred\n
  • Two (2) to Three (3) years of acute care experience\n
  • Med / Surg certification\n\nAdditional Information / Department information : The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of acute patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.
