Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Java Application Developer :
The employee will be tasked with coding and testing Java applications using frameworks such as Spring and JSF, along with utilizing Hibernate, Java web services, Tomcat application server, and Oracle database within a team comprising 2 to 4 members.
Additionally, they may contribute to migrating applications from legacy frameworks to Spring. Furthermore, the employee will support the team in both new project endeavors and the maintenance of existing applications.
They will operate under the guidance of a project lead or independently and may also be involved in tasks such as architectural design, research, prototyping, load testing, code quality assurance, and application security.
It's important to note that experience with JSF and Spring is essential for this role.
Required Skills for the Java Application Developer :
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in development of applications using Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) Platform
- 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework
- 5+ years of experience with JSF
- 4+ years of experience with Unit and System testing of code
- 4+ years of experience with Java RESTful web services using JSON
- 4+ years of experience with JPA, Hibernate or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience with the Oracle Database
