Medical Biller - Georgia Licensed

A company is looking for a Medical Biller - Accounts Receivable (AR).

Key Responsibilities

Provide accounts receivables follow-up functions for assigned Centers / Practices

Research and resolve claims and outstanding balances with no response from the payor

Document follow-up efforts in the billing system and communicate issues with the Billing staff

Required Qualifications and Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous healthcare billing and / or accounts receivable work experience

Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding systems

Proficiency in government, commercial, and / or insurance payer claims follow-up

Ability to interpret and apply insurance payer billing guidelines
