Payroll Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities :
- Oversee and execute full-cycle payroll operations for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage multi-state payroll processes, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Handle payroll tax calculations and filings while maintaining compliance standards.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary payroll documentation and ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including reporting and reconciliations.
- Utilize Workday ERP and HRIS systems to streamline payroll operations and maintain employee data.
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the team on payroll implementation projects to enhance system efficiency.
- Process payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring precise calculations and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements :
Extensive experience in full-cycle payroll administration.Proficiency in managing payroll processes across multiple states.Familiarity with local and international payroll tax regulations.Skilled in handling payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees.Strong knowledge of Workday ERP and HRIS systems.Ability to manage year-end payroll activities, including reporting and reconciliations.Experience in audit preparation and payroll documentation.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
